The yearly lectureship should be understood as an extension of the classroom teaching done during each school day at the Florida School of Preaching. With carefully chosen guest lecturers who prepare manuscripts of the assigned subjects, the students have reinforced in their mind the vital and eternal truths of God revealed in the Bible. Beyond the classroom, anyone may obtain the printed materials, and now the audio and visual presentations, and receive encouragement and instruction in the way of the Lord.

Each year as lectures are prepared, great concern is give to what is most needed, and most profitable to the person committed to preaching the riches of God’s grace. With the same materials made available in a variety of formats, congregations may use the same body of material to build up the body of Christ in local congregations throughout the world.

All Christians need to be strengthened in the Lord. Preachers and congregations need to be encouraged in the cause of truth. Each one of us needs to know that we are not alone, that there are others who love, believe, and are determined to place the truth first in their lives. The Florida School of Preaching Annual Lectures is prepared and presented with this as a goal as well in mind.

It is the firm conviction of the Florida School of Preaching that the church throughout the world will grow only by establishing and strengthening churches. Churches cannot be established and strengthened without someone doing the work of preaching. Preparing preachers is our greatest objective, and the lectureship will always be focused on the work of preaching.

The Florida School of Preaching desires to prepare men to preach throughout the world. We have no greater challenge than to help the body of Christ to build itself up on the Love of God (Eph. 4:15-16; Jude 20-21). The truths we emphasize will be those needed in any part of the world.

If you are interested in the truth, and will take the time to read some of the material presented, or to listen to some of the lessons available at this location, we believe you will receive the truth and be encouraged to make the appropriate application of God’s will to your life.
